Oberlin has issues, yes, but as for food service, i have discovered the high quality of several foods and cooking methods here, namely,

the deep-fried vegetarian fake-chicken patty
cabbage
artichoke hearts (shocking to see on the menu)
high-quality field greens (at least, before the e. coli)
pears

and topping the worst products to come out of CDS?

mac and cheese (so disappointing)
pizza
horribly cooked mushy pasta
chicken
seitan
